Gemtec, the electronic office solutions company, has signed a reseller agreement with Sharp Electronics to increase Sharp's presence in Humberside and Yorkshire. The company has joined the Sharp Partner Programme as a 'System Centre' partner, one of the highest levels of accreditation.
The complete range of digital mono and colour copier printers will be added to Gemtec's existing range of electronic document management solutions. Sharp's chief operating officer Marcus I'Anson says the agreement is integral to its plans for strengthening its partner network across the UK. "We're extremely pleased to have reached an agreement that is allowing us to capitalise on the Gemtec brand and its excellent reputation in the business community, as we move forward and gain further momentum across these key northern regions."
Sharp will be working with Gemtec to recruit a new tele-marketing team and there will be an Open Day held to mark the occasion in May.
