Office World in Redhill, Surrey is to join dealer group OfficeSMART from 1 April. General manager Dzioy Myatt says they made the change because they were looking for more than just purchasing deals.
“With OfficeSMART they tend to look at the concept of the organisation rather than just purchasing power. Price is obviously a consideration for all of us but we were looking for an organisation that would give us more support as a business. OfficeSMART had that to offer. They are more forward thinking about growth within the business and about the changes in the stationery industry. The marketing tools available to their dealers have a strong corporate identity, which is instantly recognisable and we also felt they provided more support for management and staff alike, in the form of training opportunities and open forums.”
Office World has been in business since 1986 and was a Nemo member for eight years. Last year the company moved to new, 20,000 square foot premises in Redhill and is in the process of recruiting more staff. The company turns over £1.6 million and currently employs 15 staff.
