Colebrook Bosson Saunders were revealed to be the winner of the best commercial fixture or fitting category at the FX Design Awards evening on 16th November 2005. Martyn Colebrook collected the award from Denise Van Outen at the Grosvenor House hotel, London.
According to FX Editor in chief Garry Mason the FX International Interior Design Awards celebrate the very best leading-edge talent in the industry – and help set the benchmark for truly great design. Now in their seventh year, the 2005 Awards are no exception, with the standards higher than ever in every category. Spanning projects and products in the public, work, retail and leisure sectors, the entries are testament to how the design world enhances every aspect of our everyday lives, from the major consideration to the tiniest detail. And, although we have assembled the winners here, every designer who works to that end should be congratulated and take a bow.
The judges were carefully chosen to represent a different facet of the industry and their independence of thought.
