Ascom targets Irish market with appointment of PCAS Telecom
Ascom Communications Systems Division has selected PCAS Telecom to distribute its ‘IP ready’ Ascotel range of telephone systems exclusively in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland starting this month.
PCAS Group, which is a distributor of electrical components, has brought in an experienced management team to set up a new telecommunications division. From November 2001, PCAS Telecom will support a number of specialist telecoms resellers in Ireland, selling the complete Ascotel telephone system range, and will offer a strong focus on product training and close dealer partnerships.
Sean Whelan, CEO of the PCAS Group, comments: “The spirit of this exclusive distribution agreement with Ascom is that PCAS Telecom will develop the Corporate/SME market and an extensive reseller network in the Irish market, offering the full Ascotel product range. We will also work very closely with Ascom UK in extending dealer support and initiatives to our customers.”
