Inter-Tel, the business communications solutions provider, has anounced plans to raise standards among its peers by introducing the Telecommunications Industry Association’s Convergence Technologies Professional (CTP) certification as pre-requisite standard for its technical sales and engineering teams. Inter-Tel’s advanced technical training programmes will support its staff in achieving the certification.
Kevin Burns, commercial director at Inter-Tel, says: "We anticipate that the number of customers adopting converged solutions will grow extensively in the next 18 months. In alignment with our business strategy to grow and support this market, we want to ensure we always provide the best service, advice and solutions our customers and prospects need and would expect. We have therefore put our engineers through the CTP course and I am pleased to say they have gained CTP qualifications. We are now in a position to reinforce this important industry standard."
