Global IT distributor Ingram Micro Inc has recorded a profit for the third quarter compared to a year-ago loss and saw strong European performance. The company recorded a net income of $81.2 million, compared with a net loss of $8.3 million, and revenue dropped from $5.6 billion a year ago to $5.21 billion. North America accounted for 49% of total revenue, compared to 55% a year ago, while Europe accounted for 34%, up from 31% a year ago.
