Azzurri Communications has won the Mitel Solution Provider of the Year EMEA and Mitel Solution Provider of the Year UK at the recent Mitel VIP Channel Forum. The presentations were held at London's Radisson Edwardian Heathrow hotel on the 14 June. Britannic Technologies won Fastest Growing Solution Provider of the Year EMEA and* Westcon won Fastest Growing Distributor of the Year EMEA.
Enda Kenneally, UK sales director at Mitel, says: "This is the biggest event in the calendar for Mitel in recognising its channel sales success stories. This year's ceremony acknowledged some of our channels' best ever achievements in a year of fantastic growth for Mitel in the IP Telephony market."
She said there were notable successes for Mitel's Solution Providers in sales of small IP based networked business solutions, vertical market IP applications, and in both the public sector and in private sector enterprises. European regional winners included Triple PNV in Holland, Amec Spie Communications in France, SYS-COM in Italy, MEYTEC in Germany, LusoMatrix in Spain/Portugal and Centratel pty ContraTel in the Middle East / Africa.
