Systemcare, the private brand cleaning and accessory business, has reported a 15% increase in sales for the first half of 2004 over the same period last year and says a significant proportion of turnover has come from the office products sector.
Managing director Simon Rex comments: “At the close of last year we committed to three major principles: to launch a number of new products in 2004, to sustain the high quality of all our products, and to make our already good service into an excellent one. We are achieving these aims, and the results are proof positive.
“Systemcare has changed the perception of private brand from being a poor relation to a preferred option, and the growth in private brand purchase is evidence that loyalty to branded goods is in decline.”
