DMSL backs BT strategy

DMSL, BT Indirect Channels (BTIC) leading distributor of solutions based on BT broadband services, says the release of BT’s Datasure on-line backup for servers as a sure-fire winner in the channel. The company has had a very positive response from resellers within the first two weeks of its availability. Earlier this month BT Indirect Channels announced the availability of Online Server Backup, a secure, fast and automated method of backing up and recovering server-based critical business data and databases, without the need for special hardware or any initial capital investment. The data is backed up in real time, and continuously (Windows only). DMSL's John Carter says resellers have responded enthusiastically to the launch. "This is something really useful that they can take to their customers, something that delivers real benefit and real value. It is also another sign of just how good a feel BT has for what the market needs." 30-Jul-2004
