Following the success of Digital Print World in 2004, Canon was at Northprint 2005 to give local companies the chance to see the full strength of its professional portfolio, including the brand new large format printers imagePROGRAF W6400 and W8400, launched last week at Sign UK.
Visitors to the show this year reacted very positively to Canon's strong presence and the efforts of the event team paid off with projected on-stand sales close to half a million pounds. The brand new large format printers were a huge success with projected sales in excess of £30,000 for the reseller channel including the sale of the entire W8400 stock allocated to them.
