BABS International has introduced a new facet to its trade structure targeted at business machines specialists. A limited number of distributors are to become OfficeLine Plus dealers. The company says they will be those who are experienced in negotiating capital equipment sales. They will be offered the opportunity to lease higher value machines to customers through a specially arranged BABS leasing programme.
Managing director Dick Reynolds says the scheme solves a problem for dealers who don’t have leasing facilities or who find that arranging finance for their customers is too long-winded. "We have set it up as a joint effort so that when customers lease from a 'Plus' dealer, the rental rate and credit facilities are immediately available.”
