Writing instrument supplier The Mitsubishi Pencil Company is putting its weight behind the trade in a bid to boost its share of the commercial market for 2002.
The company supplies the Uni brand in the UK and its main focus to date has been retail. With sales growth last year of over 30%, the company is now looking to the trade for further expansion. It has taken on additional staff to support the drive and earlier this month took a stand at the Superstat annual conference and exhibition to promote a range of 10 SKUs that have been included in the Superstat catalogue for the first time this year.
