Ikon Office Solutions has reported a slight gain in net income and a drop in revenue for the second quarter. It posted a net income of $36.4 million, compared with $35.3 million a year ago, while revenue decreased from $1.22 billion to $1.15 billion. Core revenue from the sale of copiers and printers was down 2.4%, and just over half the decline was said to be due to a downsizing and exiting of some businesses. The company cut its forecast for the full year.
