Buhrmann has reached an agreement in principle to acquire the Samas office products division from the Samas Groep for EUR 320 million.
The planned merger between Samas Groep and Koninklijke Ahrend will not go ahead and Buhrmann has withdrawn its bid for Ahrend and for the Samas Groep as a whole entity.
The combination of the Samas office products division with Buhrmann’s European office products division will result in an annual turnover of around EUR 1.4 billion.
