Fujitsu Europe has entered a new partnership with Northamber, the UK distributor of computer hardware and peripherals. Under the agreement Northamber will distribute Fujitsu’s ScanSnap! duplex desktop scanner aimed at the small business market and also offer support for the manufacturer’s other low volume scanning products.
Northamber comments: "We're delighted to be working with Fujitsu Europe on very exciting products. Fujitsu has been making fast document scanners for over twenty years and is now the market leader, with over 50% of the market share. It has a wide variety of market leading products, which resellers can use to substantially boost sales. ScanSnap! in particular looks set to carve out a new market in the office market reaching individuals who need the performance that traditional flatbed scanners simply can't offer.
"We're hoping that attracting this untapped market for those individuals who want to electronically scan, store and distribute paper within their office will reap considerable benefits for both us and our customers."
A partner accreditation programme is being developed for Northamber resellers, including sales leads and half price demonstration units.
