Royal Sovereign enters tripartite agreement with Hanmar Wholesale
Royal Sovereign is the first manufacturer to put in place a tripartite agreement with Hanmar Wholesale, under which the manufacturer and wholesaler will work together with the UK dealer groups.
Tony Mason, general sales manager Royal Sovereign, says: "This presents tremendous opportunities for both our companies and demonstrates the support and commitment we offer to the various buying groups. This, at a time when support for the smaller dealer appears to be in decline, I hope will demonstrate both our companies’ support to all dealers."
Royal Sovereign says the agreement covers its full product file and that this will enable members to source products in smaller pack sizes when placing their daily orders with Hanmar. Mason concludes: "With Hanmar Wholesale expansion into covering the UK Mainland market, it is an interesting development we will monitor closely."
Andrew Bodden, general manager Hanmar Wholesale, says: "This is a fine example of the way we are moving our business forward and will allow our dealers to purchase Blick and Stephens branded products on a competitive basis mixed with our other 11,000 product SKU`s."
