Brian Reynolds of Brian Reynolds Ltd in South Ruislip says he is confident that he has made the right decision in taking on Integrity’s Vision software system despite having gone to ‘hell and back’ since going live in July. But he does feel he was pushed into going live because Integrity needed a larger dealer up and running with the system. “We were the guinea pigs and it has been very hard.”
Seven weeks on he is beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel. “If you had asked me two weeks ago I would have said it was a load of old rubbish,” he told channelinfo, “but this is our seventh week now and although I’m still having problems, as each day goes by I can see that it has the potential to be good.”
The £3 million company has 26 staff and 12-15 users and is to date the largest Integra dealer to start using Vision. The company has been working closely with Integra’s IT expert Margaret Reilly but has had problems getting the technical support they needed from Integrity. Reynolds says there seems to be nobody at Integrity with the overall knowledge of how the system works. “They have experts in individual subjects but no-one who understands the whole picture, no one who knows the system like I will in a month’s time. They should be learning alongside us.
“We have been to hell and back but I think the change is inevitable and when I look at it I know it will ultimately be a good system.”
