Symbian, the joint venture developer of the Smartphone, has seen first half revenues rise from £9.5 million to £21.1 million. The company sold 2.8 million phones over the same period compared to 230,000 in the fist half of last year.
Symbian is owned by a group of companies that includes Psion as the majority shareholder, Ericsson and Nokia.
