Amstrad is finally back in profit after strong sales of its digital set-top box business and signs that its much criticised Em@ailer internet phone business, under the Amserve division, is beginning to show signs of improvement. The company says Amserve, which reported losses of £6.1 million for the year to June, will break even in the current fiscal year.
