Integrity Software Systems, the UK subsidiary of Integrity Software Inc, has acquired Ebusiness Solutions for an undisclosed consideration paid in cash and shares. Ebusiness, based in Rotherham, is the developer of the Orderpoint e-commerce solution that is used by many of the UK office products dealer groups.
Peter Nagle, CEO of Integrity Software, says: “Ebusiness brings to Integrity the technology and finished products to complement and enhance our own generic web ordering software Webstore. This acquisition allows our business to accelerate our deployment of additional products and services to the OP market. In addition, it will allow existing research and development staff working on web ordering products to be redeployed into new exciting areas of product development.
“David Barrett and his team bring to our business considerable experience and David will lead our development efforts in to this exciting and dynamic part of the market. We continue with our strategy to develop and acquire end to end software solutions to meet our customers business critical systems requirements.”
Orderpoint will now be branded Integrity Orderpoint and the technology acquired will be fully integrated into Integrity’s existing software products, in particular the Vision product for the office products market. All the existing relationships that exist with dealers groups and customers are to be maintained and expanded.
David Barrett, managing director of Ebusiness, comments: “We have always known that the investment we were making in Orderpoint software would enable us to offer solutions across industries and markets. In selecting Integrity as the preferred merger partner, we saw the benefit of our products being rolled out through the Integrity sales machine. This transaction is great news for our customers, staff and partners as well as the existing Integrity community as it guarantees stability and allows a blueprint for the future to be implemented.”
