Two thirds of US directors are still uncomfortable with the accuracy of their companys' financial business forecasts according to a new report, and nearly a third say they are not sure if they have all the information they need to endure the disclosure of appropriate information to investors and other interested parties.
The report, Benchmarking the Board: Performance Accountability Audit, was carried out by the Business Performance Management Forum (BPMF) amongst 150 US board members. The forum was set up to monitor business activity after the accounting scandals of recent years.
