The Stationery Channel to start regional operations in April 2004
The Stationery Channel says that selection of its team is now complete and that this will enable it to start trading on a regional basis from early April. The operation is based at Tamworth, close to junction 10 of the M42 in the West Midlands, and the warehouse and office refit is under way.
Several thousand branded stationery items will be stocked and promoted for the April to June quarter and this number will increase significantly during the July to September quarter. The company says the initial range represents both a spread of popular items from the leading branded manufacturers and the first few range extensions that will differentiate The Stationery Channel as it helps participating manufacturers get wholesale distribution to the trade for these extended ranges.
